Donald Hamilton-Fraser RA (1929-2009)

Sought after screenprint, Lindisfarne 1, by Donald Hamilton-Fraser. A 28 colour screenprint, signed in pencil and numbered 231/275.

Dating from 1990, the image captures a moody scene with an oncoming storm.  Lindisfarne was a favoured location for Fraser, inspired by the rugged promontory with castle next to the sea.

 

 

Measurements: Image: 41 x 54.5 cm

Condition: Unframed, shown in its mount, some light matte burn around the image where the paper was not protected by the mount, but this is minor and not noticeable in its mount. Will be rolled for shipping so there will be mount tape or mount tape residue verso.
