Signed and numbered Limited Edition Print by the much sought after Mary Fedden RA, of her 1991 painting Cat on a Cornish Beach

Published by Bow Art in 1996 to coincide with her major retrospective exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy. It was part of a series of prints by major 20th century British artists published by Bow Art at this time and is a great opportunity to acquire a signed Mary Fedden work.

Signed in pencil and numbered from the edition of 500 in pencil, this one is 431/500. Bow Art blind stamp lower margin.

Printed on 240gsm, uncoated acid free paper.

Cats and Cornwall were two of Fedden’s favourite themes and the two are combined in this 1991 painting. The contented cat, painted in Fedden’s inimitable style, stares out happily from the deserted beach while the fishermen’s cottages appear to huddle and shelter from the sea.
