Printed on thick wove paper, this is one image from Julian Trevelyan’s Thames Suite, which consisted of 12 different views of the River Thames from the upper non-tidal reaches to the tidal stretches of London and down to the Estuary. They depict the varied and rich character of the river and the human activities which occur alongside it, through a fresh, innovative and modern approach. Printed by Geoffrey Beardsall and Dorothea Wight, London and published by London Graphics.
