Richard Beer (1928-2017)

An original painting in oil, on canvas from Richard Beer’s own personal collection.

Unsigned, untitled, a view of an Italian villa / farmhouse, possibly Tuscany.

Beer spent many holidays travelling through southern Europe where he sketched, drew and painted landscapes, architecture and street scenes as inspiration for his etchings and paintings which he would complete on his return to his Primrose hill home and studio. 

Provenance: from the estate sale of the late Richard Beer (copy of auction receipt can be provided)

Measurements: 51 x 76 cm

Condition: Excellent condition, a couple of light dusty marks upper right corner, canvas is stretched onto a wooden frame which can be hung, or could be further framed
