The Bacino, Venice

Large and rare etching with aquatint from The Venice Series 1978, an edition of just 35 copies.  This one signed in pencil and numbered 31/35.

Measurements: 88 x 65cm image size.

Condition: Photographed in its silver contemporary frame with perspex and no mount, the image is in super condition, the only observation is there is a rectangle of lighter paper to the lower central margin, I am guessing that the frame had a label on it at some point hence the slight differential in colour to the rest of the sheet which has slightly coloured with age. There is a small tear to the top edge of the paper,well away from the printed area. There is no foxing or noticeable time toning and this is a stunning print.
