Six Pieces (1968)

Tom Phillips RA (1937-2023)

A rare vintage  limited edition screenprint from 1967 called Six Pieces which is in several museum collections.

According to the artist’s website, this print was inspired by a score for a performance group with text poetry and dance maps shown in the visual in blue and brown.  It was published by the Lisson Gallery 1969 as an edition of 150.  The score was first performed under the direction of Richard Orton at the York Festival of New Music 1969.

Signed and dated, numbered 66/150 in pencil.
