Superb large etching with aquatint of Venice’s Santa Maria della Salute.  A seemingly rare edition which we cannot find available elsewhere.

This composition is really striking with Beer’s draughtsmanship shining through. Great detail on the cathedral and tones of blue, pink and beig

Measurements: 42.5 x 65 cm plate size

Condition: Image is in Great condition, unframed on wove paper.  Some very faint discolouration in the margins which is barely noticeable and won't photograph it is that subtle.  

This work has now been sold
