Jeffery Edwards (b1945)

Rare screenprint by contemporary artist Jeffrey Edwards from the 1986 Chelsea School of Art Printmakers Portfolio.

Signed in pencil, numbered 22/30 and titled, this screenprint was one of 19prints which made up the folio, with contributions by students and tutors at the Chelsea School of Art.  Edwards was a tutor.

Provenance: from the estate of the late Richard Beer, artist and printmaker, who taught at Chelsea for over 40 years.  This was his personal set.  Other Notable contributors to the folio included Richard Beer himself, Tim Mara and Chris Plowman
