Albany Wiseman (1930-2021)

An original large acrylic on board painting by the late Albany Wiseman.  It is quite rare to find original works by the artist on the secondary market and this is quite a different style and composition from the architectural detailed works he was best known for.

A landscape with gnarled tree, a striking semi-abstract work which is signed lower right.  titled in pencil on the back Farm near Calvi, Corsica where it is also denoted ‘acrylic’

Provenance: from the archives of the late Albany Wiseman.

Measurements: 60 x 50.5 cm size

Condition: The work has never been framed and has sustained some storage damage to the corners and top edge, but this does not detract from this stunning image.
