Kabuki, scene from Yoshinogawa is another wonderful example of Procktor’s printmaking prowess. The subject is a Japanese Kabuki, which is a traditional form of Theatre in Japan. In some ways similar to British pantomime, the characters are loud and animated, they usually contain humour and a story.
