Homage to Senefelder

Graham Sutherland O.M.(1903-1980)
Pencil signed and numbered colour lithograph from 1974.  Known as Homage to Senefelder (cat rais. Tassi 141), who was the inventor of lithography.
There were 65 in the edition, printed on wove paper, this one numbered 6/65, and in addition a further 35 artist proofs were printed on Japan paper.
 
Published by Wolfgang Ketter, Munich with the blindstamp “WK”. Featured in the well-known folio “Europaeische Graphik no. IX” by Felix Man of 1972.

Condition: Unframed, in excellent condition with a minor handling crease lower left margin
