Chateau Haut Brion

Tom Phillips RA (1937-2023)

Screenprint with etching based on a wine label.  One from a set of works commissioned and published by Wine Arts in 1989 featuring French vineyards and winemaking chateaux.  The other artists involved in the folio included Norman Ackroyd RA and Terence Millington.

Château Haut-Brion is a French wine, rated a Premier Grand Cru Classé, produced in Pessac just outside the city of Bordeaux.

The central image of the chateau and vineyards is bordered with close ups of vines with text relating to wine.

Signed in pencil and numbered from the edition of 150 (the number shown in image for reference only). Advanced Graphics blindstamp lower right.
