Chateau Ausone

John Furnival (1933-2020)

A signed limited edition etching with aquatint by the late John Furnival.  One from a set of works commissioned and published by Wine Arts in 1989 featuring French vineyards and winemaking chateaux.  The other artists involved in the folio included Patrick Procktor RA and Norman Ackroyd RA.

Château Ausone is a Bordeaux wine from Saint-Émilion appellation, previously ranked Premier Grand Cru Classé (A) in the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine
Signed in pencil and titled, a proof aside from the edition of 150.

Measurements: image 33 x 48 cm

Condition: In excellent condition, never framed or displayed, stored in its folio.
