A rare artists proof lithograph of Venice’s Ca’ Rezzonico, from Richard Beer’s own personal collection of prints.

Signed, titled and denoted artists proof, in pencil. Ca’ Rezzonico is an 18th century baroque palazzo on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, well known for its architectural splendour.

Printed in 1971 at Curwen Studio.  Collections: the Tate

Beer spent many holidays travelling through southern Europe where he sketched, drew and painted landscapes, architecture and street scenes as inspiration for his etchings and paintings which he would complete on his return to his Primrose hill home and studio.

Condition: Unframed, overall excellent condition, some light time toning to the bottom edge of the sheet from age
