Original watercolour on paper, referenced HCL 677 on the back in pencil.

Chalky contact marks on the back suggest the painting has been stored with other studio works.

Purchased from an auction selling many original works by Cliffe, a copy of the auction receipt can be provided.

Measurements: 56 x 76 cm sheet size

Condition: Unframed on heavy paper, with light handling creasing to lower margin, with a couple of heavy crease lines along the same margin; on the back of the sheet there are a couple of strips of surface scuffing where mount tape has been removed, the very slight matte burn around the edges suggest this work has been previously mounted or framed. Light old water staining to the right hand edge of sheet, minor.
