Chris Plowman (1952-2009)

Rare etching with aquatint by the late Chris Plowman from the 1988 Chelsea School of Art Printmakers Portfolio.

Signed in pencil, numbered 20/30 and titled, this screenprint was one of 19 prints which made up the folio, with contributions by students and tutors at the Chelsea School of Art.  Plowman was a tutor.

Provenance: from the estate of the late Richard Beer, artist and printmaker, who taught at Chelsea for over 40 years.  This was his personal set.  Other Notable contributors to the folio included Richard Beer himself, Tim Mara and Jeff Edwards

Measurements: 46 x 32 cm approx sheet size

Condition: great condition, straight from the folio.
