Sir Sidney Nolan RA (1917-1992)

One of Australia’s best known artists, most noted for his iconic series of works depicting bushranger Ned Kelly, described as one of the greatest sequences of Australian painting of the 20th century.  He travelled to Europe in the 1950s, studying printmaking under Stanley William Hayter, and latterly settled in England. He has works in the Tate and MOMA New York.
