Roy Walker (1936-2001)
A highly regarded painter and printmaker from the St Ives School, Walker trained in art at the Gravesend School of Art and Regent Street Polytechnic followed by the Central School of Arts and Crafts from 1957-1960. He moved to St Ives in 1965 where he joined the Newlyn Society and Penwith Society of Artists. He exhibited at the Tate St Ives in 1993 and lectured in Falmouth and Plymouth Art Colleges. He was a close friend of Bryan Pearce who he helped to produce prints for.
