Richard Davies (b1944)

A student of the Portsmouth College of Art where he was awarded a painting scholarship, he later attended the Royal College of Art to focus on printmaking. He has worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the London College of Printing and since 1983 has been the Head of Printmaking at Canterbury College of Art. He has exhibited widely and his work can be found in the collections of The British Council, The Victoria and Albert Museum The Museum of the City of New York Imperial War Museum and The Royal Academy of Arts.
