Richard Bawden RE (b1936)
Born in 1936, Bawden studied at Chelsea, St Martins School and the Royal College of Art. The son of Edward Bawden RA, he is a highly regarded painter and printmaker, his works often reflecting scenes of domestic life, cats, gardens, daily life. He has combined a successful career in printmaking with lecturing at several well known art schools and his work is in the collections of the Tate, Ashmolean, V&A Museum and the Government Art Collection.
