Patrick Hughes (b1939)

A largely self-taught artist famously known for his ‘rainbow’ images. His first one man show was in London in 1961 and in New York in 1983. From 1964-9 he lectured at Leeds College of Art. His work is in several private & public collections including the British Council, the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Print Collection at the Tate Gallery.
