Edwina Sandys (b1938)
Edwina Sandys MBE is the grand-daughter of Sir Winston Churchill. A debutante who was presented to Queen Elizabeth ii, she worked as a dress designer and secretary, followed by a stint as a columnist for the Telegraph. Her career as an artist began in 1970 and she has enjoyed much success with her sculptures and prints. Her works are in public and private collections including the UN in New York, Geneva and Vienna, the Tate, New York’s cathedral of St John the Divine and Windsor Great Park. She resides in New York.
