Bernard Cheese (1925-2013)

Bernard Cheese studied under Edwin Bawden, John Nash and Edwin La Dell at the Royal College of Art 1947-50. From 1950-68, he taught printmaking at St Martin’s School of Art, was Senior Lecturer at Goldsmith’s College, London 1970-78 and taught part-time at Central School of Art and Crafts 1980-89. In 1998 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers. His work in in many public collections.
