Anthony Green RA (b1939)
Biography: Painter and printmaker, best known for depicting his own middle class lifestyle in his works. Green studied at the Highgate school and Slade School of Art. After a short spell in Paris he held his first solo show in London in 1962, and has had almost 100 solo shows worldwide since. A regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy summer exhibition, his work again featured there this year. Green taught at the Slade School 1964-7 and was elected RA in 1977.
