Original Linocut by the late Stan Cooper, signed in pencil, and numbered 4/12. The title of this work is Vingt-et-un (21) as in the door number.

From a series of works focussing on provincial France, this one shows a typical street scene with shuttered windows and ladies having a chat.

Fantastic blocks of colour in blue and pink tones.

Provenance: Acquired from the family directly.
